One Sky, Two Views Student Art Contest
Sample story - Flyer for Schools
As part of the One Sky, Two Views program, we are seeking student depictions of Native American sky stories.
Semifinalists will
be featured in a poster session at the One Sky, Two Views cultural
convention in the 
winter
of 2007.
Winners will receive $100, and their entries will apear in the educational book to be published at the end of the program.
Contest Guidelines
All entries must in some way depict a traditional Native American sky story. (Example Story)
Your artwork can be done in colored pencil, crayon, or watercolors.
Please use 8.5" by 11" paper.
On a separate sheet of paper, please write
- your name, age, and grade
- the title of your work
- what native story you used and the tribe it originated in
- the name, address, and phone number of your teacher and a parent or guardian
- the name of your school
